Why Lake Mary clients choose our firm

Lake Mary's position along the I-4 corridor and its concentration of corporate offices on International Parkway and Lake Mary Boulevard create a steady flow of employment-based immigration cases — L-1 intracompany transferees, H-1B specialty workers, and EB-2 NIW (national interest waiver) self-petitions for tech and finance professionals.

We also see a strong volume of family-based cases tied to the established neighborhoods around Heathrow and Markham Woods Road, plus naturalization (N-400) work for long-term green card holders moving toward citizenship.

Our office is in downtown Orlando, about 25 minutes south of Lake Mary on I-4. The Orlando Immigration Court at 3535 Lawton Road and the USCIS Field Office on Sand Lake Road are both within Seminole County's service area. We work in English and Spanish.

What clients say

★★★★★
Mr. Gustavo Vargas was my lawyer twice, years ago for my immigration process and now for my husband's. He is extremely Professional and knowledgeable about the entire process. Both times it was a success story! Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

A great service and organisation. He explained the process many times and provided detailed instructions every step of the way. When an issue occurred in the process (and through Covid) Mr Vargas clearly detailed what needed to be done and how.

Great service and I'm glad I paid my money to have his guidance.

Common questions from Lake Mary clients

Do you work with corporate HR teams on H-1B and L-1 cases?

Yes. We regularly partner with corporate HR and mobility teams to file H-1B specialty worker petitions, L-1A and L-1B intracompany transfer petitions, and the supporting documentation. We provide flat-fee quotes and clear timelines, and we are responsive to deadline pressure tied to start dates and project schedules.

Can my employer sponsor me for a green card while I'm on H-1B?

Often, yes. The most common path is PERM labor certification followed by I-140 and I-485. If you qualify under EB-1 (extraordinary ability or multinational manager) or EB-2 NIW, you may be able to skip PERM. Timing is critical because H-1B status has a 6-year cap, but extensions beyond 6 years are available once a PERM or I-140 is in process.

What is an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) and am I eligible?

EB-2 NIW lets advanced-degree professionals self-petition for a green card without an employer sponsor, by showing the work has substantial merit and national importance and that the petitioner is well positioned to advance it. It works well for researchers, entrepreneurs, and specialists in fields with documented U.S. workforce gaps. We assess eligibility at the consultation.

How long does an N-400 take through Orlando?

Naturalization (N-400) processing in the Orlando jurisdiction commonly runs 6–9 months from filing to oath. We prepare you for the civics and English portions of the interview and accompany you if you wish.

Do you do virtual consultations?

Yes. Many Lake Mary clients start by Zoom and come in person only when needed. After retention, most communication happens by email and our secure client portal.

Ready to talk about your case?
