Kissimmee's immigrant communities — Puerto Rican, Venezuelan, Brazilian, Haitian, and many more — face unique immigration questions every day. Our Orlando-based firm has guided Kissimmee families through visas, green cards, citizenship, and deportation defense for nearly three decades. We work in English and Spanish, and our office is a short drive up Highway 17/92.
Why Kissimmee families choose our firm
Kissimmee has one of the largest Hispanic populations in Central Florida, with a growing Puerto Rican and Venezuelan community that has shaped the city's character for decades. Many of our Kissimmee clients are Disney- and Lake Buena Vista–area H-2B and J-1 workers, mixed-status families on Buenaventura Lakes Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road, and entrepreneurs running businesses along Highway 192. We also represent families across the rest of Osceola County — Poinciana, Celebration, St. Cloud — and the Lake Buena Vista resort corridor on the Orange County side of the line.
Common Kissimmee cases include family-based green cards (especially I-130 spousal petitions), naturalization for long-time green card holders, and TPS or asylum cases tied to conditions in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Haiti. We also see deportation defense matters tied to traffic-stop and workplace ICE actions.
Our office is in downtown Orlando, about 20 minutes north of Kissimmee on Highway 17/92 or I-4. The Orlando Immigration Court at 3535 Lawton Road is the venue for any removal proceedings involving Kissimmee residents. We work bilingually so the entire process — consultation, paperwork, interview prep, and court appearances — happens in the language you're most comfortable with.

What clients say
Mr. Gustavo Vargas was my lawyer twice, years ago for my immigration process and now for my husband's. He is extremely Professional and knowledgeable about the entire process. Both times it was a success story! Highly recommended. Thank you so much.alba inacio
A great service and organisation. He explained the process many times and provided detailed instructions every step of the way. When an issue occurred in the process (and through Covid) Mr Vargas clearly detailed what needed to be done and how.Ian Collins
Great service and I'm glad I paid my money to have his guidance.

How do I get to your Orlando office from Kissimmee?
Take US-17/92 north or I-4 east into downtown Orlando. The drive is typically 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. Our address is 545 Delaney Ave, Building 4, Orlando, FL 32801. Free street parking is available, and many Kissimmee clients prefer to park once at our office and walk to the federal building when needed.
I came on TPS — can I apply for a green card?
Possibly. Temporary Protected Status alone does not lead to a green card, but TPS holders may have other paths: a U.S. citizen or LPR family member sponsor, asylum, U-visa for crime victims, or in some cases adjustment of status if the original entry was inspected. The Sanchez v. Mayorkas decision and subsequent guidance affect this analysis. We can review your case at the consultation.
What if I was stopped by ICE on Highway 192?
If you were detained or given a Notice to Appear (NTA), call us as soon as possible. Bond hearings can usually be scheduled within 5–10 days, and bond is often available for non-violent detainees with strong community ties. See our deportation defense page for more details.
Do you handle cases for clients outside Kissimmee?
Yes — we serve all of Central Florida (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Lake, Volusia, Brevard counties) and represent clients across Florida and beyond. Immigration law is federal, so location is rarely a barrier.
What does the consultation cost?
The initial 30-minute consultation is free. After it, you will know whether we can help, what your case will cost, and what the timeline looks like. There is no obligation to hire us, and the conversation is confidential under attorney-client privilege.
